Daniel & Phyon (Day 1)

Tell me which groom wouldn’t be worry sick for over sleeping or missing the perfect time to fetch their future wife-to-be on their big day? All grooms do. Right?

For Daniel, i guess it really eats into him. His situation is different. His wife-to-be Phyon is across the Causeway and need i mentioned it happens to be Malaysia Polling day and with the great escape artistic Mas Salamet somewhere out there …

Anyway I wasn’t surprise when he changed the meet up time twice, each time 15mins eariler. To cut the story short, here are some photos from the ground … traffic jams (from dawn to day break).

Did Daniel make it? Of course he made it. With a little help from his buddies and his wonderful singing, he managed to get to his future wife with little resistance!

The trip back to Singapore was smooth sailing, with enough time for the groom and bride to head home to their newly renovated home before going for church service at Wesley Methodist Church.

The trip back to Johor was smooth with about an hour to spare for ah-hoc photo shoot. Dunga Bay (hope i got it correct!)  was the perfect choice as it was near the restaurant. Personally I thought the best photos of the day was taken then; with no timeline to meet, the bride and groom was at their most relaxed mood.

As we headed for Restoran Maedo, I can see some volunteers removing the polling day flags … it’s been an eventful but tiring day.
